When you love spicy food, your body grows accustomed to the heat. Your taste buds get stronger, and eventually you seek out more spice.
Spicy sauces are addicting and can be healthier than most condiments and of course delicious. Adding hot sauce to healthy food makes it enjoyable, and it provides a phenomenal snack!
Take sauces made from habanero peppers for example. The habanero pepper is one of the hottest peppers on the Scoville scale of heat and loaded with flavor. The heat of the pepper is determined by the season and location in which the pepper grows. The heat from habaneros stimulates metabolism and helps to burn fat- so the hotter the better! If you were to consume six grams of habanero peppers or sauce, you would burn over forty calories!
